To understand what drives my business, you have to understand what drives me.
Let me take you back to the start.
I was ten years old when I first felt the fire burn within me. Interested in business from an early age, starting my own was only natural. Selling small jewelry pieces in my elementary school; the $1 manicures at family gatherings; the unforgettable feeling of holding my very first printed business cards. I swear, I think I handed those cards out to every girl in school. And when prom time came around, they all knew who to call.
I don’t wait for luck to find me; I create my own opportunity.
It’s the same fire that fueled my career as an elite athlete. Growing up in Southern California, I played basketball and ran track up to and through college. But I couldn’t give up the competition, so I channeled my fire into coaching. Helping young women succeed wasn’t just a passion; I quickly realized that it was indeed my calling. Whether it’s on the court or on the set of an executive photoshoot, my all-out mentality never goes away.
As a single mother, I had to adapt and change in ways that I never would have understood before having a child. I wasn’t just competing against an opponent; I was competing against circumstance. Sure, there’s pressure, but pressure makes diamonds.

While in beauty school, I found that the curriculum lacked any sort of business education; crazy, I know. This oversight inspired me to fill in the gap; to create my own opportunity. For over ten years, I’ve been providing industry-specific business coaching to beauty professionals; personal branding represents the next step in my career helping my clients achieve their professional goals. Seeing their success materialize in real-time is what gets me up in the morning.
